A short Documentary by Aileen Lambert
Enniscorthy’s Carol a short documentary by folklore singer and artist Aileen Lambert, traces the background story and local connections to ‘The Enniscorthy Christmas Carol’ or also known as ‘The Wexford Carol’. This 23 minute documentary features interviews with many local people who interwovenly tell the story of the history and origins of the song. It ends with a performance of the carol by Adrian Doyle, the current organist of St Aidan’s cathedral in Enniscorthy.
